Little Lena's Birthday

Lena turned 12 today! The Young Women came and picked her up from Primary, she was very excited to go to YW today, and loved it. They already love her and are glad she can finally go to camp with them. It's probably Megan's last camping year, so they'll have at least one year together. Lena wanted a do-nut cake-Why didn't I think of that years ago? Cute, simple, and tasty.

Rootbeer for All

Our family project was making home-made rootbeer in bottles. What fun! It was very quick, and enjoyable. Everyone was able to be involved and help with the process. It was easy to get a production line and we always surprise ourselves at how efficient we are.

Elder Gillies in the Philippines

Elliot has been sending some pictures. He is keeping very busy, has baptized at least 10 people, and is getting used to the food. The culture is a bit of an adjustment. He is on his second companion in the Philippines now, and he's in his second area. He lives right by the beach. The weather is very hot and moist, but it appears he's enjoying it all.
